A Baja Voodoo prerunner vehicle traditionally has rear-wheel drive and lots of suspension travel, especially in the front, to soak up large bumps and smooth out landings. The full-bodied pre-runners had large, high front fender cut-outs to accommodate the amount of up-travel of the front suspension without increasing the ride height. Ride height is kept as low as possible to improve stability. As a result, prerunners often look like they have a reverse-rake, or a low-rear stance.
